1. What are presets?
Presets are "filters" that you can apply on your pictures with just one click. They contain the settings I created and used over the years for all of my pictures, and give you the same consistent look as you can find on my Instagram.
2. Which program do I need to use your presets?
To use the presets, you need to have Adobe Lightroom for Desktop (subscription) or the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app (free) for the Mobile pack. Lightroom is a powerful and overall amazing tool to edit you pictures just like the pros! The presets are not compatible with Adobe Photoshop.
↦ You HAVE to download the presets via a computer to unzip the files! (see How To)
↦ Remember: ONLY the special "Mobile Pack" contains presets that can be used in the Lightroom Mobile app!!
3. Who are these presets for?
As I got so many of you guys sending me dm's about my editing, I realised lots of you are really interested in photography! These presets are for people who want to step up their editing game and Instagram, didn't find a consistent look yet, love the way I edit and want to have the same results, etc. Everyone who loves taking pictures and cares about the overall look of them, from professionals to people who just do it for fun, can take advantage of these presets. Especially the people new to Lightroom!
4. Are these the presets you use to edit your pictures?
Yes, all of my Instagram pics are edited with them. It took me a lot of time and energy in finding the right editing style and giving my pictures that consistent colourful look. But since creating my presets, editing can literally take only a few minutes!
5. What should I do if my skin tone appears a little too orange?
Scroll down in the right sidebar to colour correction. Start adjusting the Saturation and Luminance of the orange colours to change your skin tone.
6. How do I install my presets?
See the "How To" page.
7. How do I use these presets in the best way?
Try out as many presets as possible on your picture and choose the one that you like the most. Afterwords you can start to slightly adjust the settings if you want, mainly focussing on temperature, exposure and saturation.
As an extra, don't be afraid to play around with the Colour Correction sliders!
8. How many presets are in one pack?
Every desktop preset package has 10 unique presets that come in 2 versions (medium and high contrast), so includes a total of 20 presets. The Complete Collection exists out of all the desktop packs, so includes 80 presets and gives you overall the most value. The Full Mobile Pack contains the 3 most versatile ones from each collection and has a total of 24 presets.
Some photographers or editors choose to offer small packs, but I really think that its important to have a great amount of presets to play with and choose from. This saves time in adjustments and makes sure that you'll get an awesome result for almost all of your photos.
9. Is it okay if I shoot in JPEG?
Yes, all presets are compatible for JPEGs. This said, I do advice to shoot in RAW if possible as you have much more information to work with when editing. The overall look you can obtain remains very similar.
10. Which camera do you use?
I use the Leica M (240) with a 35mm and 21mm lens, and the iPhone X. I used other cameras before and experienced that editing has way more impact on your pictures than the camera!
11. Are your presets refundable?
Because digital products cannot be returned, unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds.
